God has big plans for your children and we want to help them achieve those plans. At TLC we don’t believe that there is a ‘big Holy Spirit’ and a ‘baby Holy Spirit’ but the one Spirit works in all and through all to the glory of God.
So our plan is to raise our children to a stage of Christian maturity that equips them to be and to make disciples of Jesus Christ, no matter what their age.
Lower School
TLC Kidz ages 3-6 years, and 7-9 years
Their curriculum relates to what is taught to adults, but in their own language and based on their own needs.
You’ll want to get to church about 15-20 minutes early to sign them in at the Greeter’s table. Then take them to the Annex building called TLC Kidz where they will have a wonderful time praising, praying and learning about our wonderful God with other children their own age. They are cared for by our loving teachers, caregivers and a security assistant and given snacks and naps if needed.
Upper School
TLC Tweenz ages 10-12 years and TLC Teenz ages 13-15 & 16-18 years
Their questions about God and life get answered through the lens of the Word.
They worship with us to maintain an awareness of what ‘big’ church is like, then they leave for their own class time. The tweens have class every Sunday, while the younger teens alternate with the older teens every other Sunday.
Teens also have other support activities like a weekly Bible Study, monthly Chill & Chat, twice yearly Youth Sunday where they lead services and an Encounter in the summer.
