What Does the Bible Say?
At TLC, “If God says it, that’s it” and so, we need no other reason to give than the fact that the Word of God tells us to do so. And not only that, but the Bible also tells us the many benefits to giving. Here’s just a sample of what God says:
“Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will be also.” Matthew 6:21
“Bring this tithe to eat before the Lord your God at the place he shall choose as his sanctuary; this applies to your tithes of grain, new wine, olive oil, and the firstborn of your flocks and herds. The purpose of tithing is to teach you always to put God first in your lives.” Deuteronomy 14:23 (TLB)
“Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life.” 1 Timothy 6:18-19
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10
Why Should I GIVE?
Your generosity helps us bless the communities surrounding Transformed Life Church with love, support, and transformation. We believe in the biblical principle of tithing — joyfully giving a tenth (10%) of our income to support the work of our church.
It's an expression of our trust in God as our provider and a tangible way we can participate in His work. Your generosity empowers us to fulfill our mission and serve our community.
