Let Us Pray for Salvation

“He (Jesus) said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:15-16 NIV

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10 NIV

At TLC, we believe Romans 3:23 NLT, which says, “Everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard”. Yet, God has made a way for the forgiveness of our sin because of His great love for us.

And this way is believing that Jesus Christ provides the only way for reconciliation with God, offering salvation to all who believe and commit themselves to following God in a life of obedience starting with immediate baptism.

Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. This is a free gift from God, and as with all gifts, your only job now is to receive it.

So, if you want to start this exciting journey of freedom and faith in Jesus Christ, then we invite you to say the prayer below.

“Dear God,

I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I trust and follow you as my Lord and Saviour. Guide my life and help me to do your will.

In Jesus’ name, I pray amen.”

If you prayed this for the first time, we are so excited for you! Let us know about this step so that we can pray for you and help you with your next step of obedience – baptism!
