The incumbent is responsible for the leadership and spiritual direction of programmes for the youth of all ages groups as well as young adults; preparing and overseeing youth curricula for the various age groups and strategies to build young disciples for Christ; as well as identifying and training persons as teachers and caregivers, and training and educating parents to aid in raising godly and empowered children.

The candidate will be an energetic, charismatic, action-oriented, strong mentor and leader with knowledge of effective communication techniques tailored for young people. Proficiency in the use of computers, Microsoft suite of products is essential, and in-depth knowledge of youth discipleship programs and techniques, including recent trends in teaching, is an asset for the role. A Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry, Youth Ministry, or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution, and three (3) years’ working experience in a similar position are required.
