The Ministry Leader, Property is responsible for the overall care, maintenance, and effective use of the church’s buildings, grounds, and related facilities, as well as furniture and equipment under the Ministry’s control. The incumbent also oversees property management activities for the church’s campuses, ensuring that all the church properties are safe, functional, attractive, and aligned with the mission of the church to support worship, ministry, and community activities. Also, oversees maintenance operations, vendor relations, facility scheduling, and property expansion or improvement projects, and ensures good stewardship of all physical assets.

The candidate will be an independent worker who has strong leadership, negotiation, strategic planning, and project management skills, as well as highly developed written and verbal communication skills. Good knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and vendor management are required.  Knowledge of Facilities Management Software is an asset.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management Studies, or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution, and three (3) years of working experience in a similar position.
